Who should skip it

Arctis Nova 5X Review Analysis
Wireless switching for mixed use
The headset switches between 2.4GHz gaming and Bluetooth with a button tap, so gaming, calls, and media can share one headset. For noisy outdoor calls, check whether its retractable microphone suits your needs.
Battery and charging
The 60-hour battery target is a clear advantage for long stretches between charges. A 15-minute USB-C fast charge is specified to provide six hours of use, which can help when a full recharge is inconvenient.
Preset-led audio choices
More than 100 game audio presets give players a way to tailor sound through the companion app.
That feature is most useful if you play supported titles and are willing to use app-based adjustments; the product information do not establish how any preset sounds in practice.
Controls and microphone placement
The on-ear controls put power, muting, volume, ChatMix and Quick-Switch within reach. A fully retractable microphone can be moved out of the way when calls or voice chat are not needed, while its chipset supports 32KHz/16Bit audio.
